Nidderdale Plus Community Fund Round 4 Now Live

Unknown

Nidderdale Plus has been running its own charity shop on Pateley High Street for almost 4 years now. The idea behind the shop is that all donations brought to and sold at the shop serve our local community here in Nidderdale and the Washburn Valley, either by helping to fund Nidd Plus’s charitable services, or by providing a pot of money each year to which local groups can apply. This “pot of money” is called the Nidderdale Plus Community Fund, and we are very pleased to announce that the fourth round of the fund is NOW OPEN!

The Fund is administered by Two Ridings Community Foundation (TRCF), and you find out more about the fund and how to apply here.

But, in brief, for this fourth round, applications are welcomed from organisations who are:

  • Improving community wellbeing and social inclusion
  • Fostering independence
  • Cultivating a sense of belonging
  • Community energy initiatives
  • Improving community spaces and facilities for local residents.

So, local community groups can apply to:

  • run activities and services
  • cover essential running costs such as utilities, rent, core staff etc.
  • cover the costs of small capital schemes.

We will give priority to applicants that:

  • can evidence demand
  • are working with people who need extra support to stay independent and well.

The Nidderdale Plus Community Fund is keen to support community inspired and led projects, activities and events that show how a small investment can make a big difference to the local community.

The closing date for applications is 26th March 2026, and grant awards are £200 minimum to £2,000 maximum. Do get in touch with TRCF by emailing: grants@tworidingscf.org.uk, if you have any queries about filling in the form, or whether your proposed project meets the brief.
