Together in the Dale

Nidderdale Plus began Together in the Dale in November 2025, to provide a much-needed day care service in Nidderdale.  The sessions are held at Christ Church Community Centre in Darley.  The sessions cater for people with care needs or who are looking for companionship and something interesting to do that takes them away from their home environment for a few hours.  

 

The sessions are also ideally suited for respite care, for carers who can be sure that their loved one is in a safe and stimulating environment, whilst they attend to other needs and activities.

 

Each session provides:  cooking and baking activities; a shared lunch (provided freshly cooked by the Wellington Inn Darley); guest speakers; craft activities; board games and quizzes; and other enjoyable activities.

 

Sessions run from 10am-3pm and cost £45 per session (Inc. lunch).  Transport options and careers from Radfield Home Care can be present to support any care needs at no extra cost.

 

The sessions run each fortnight on a Wednesday.
