Vibrant & Sustainable High Streets Fund
Earlier this year, Nidderdale Plus raised funds from the YNYC Mayor’s Fund to help support local businesses across Nidderdale.
As part of this Fund, we are embarking on the following projects devised to support and facilitate a stronger local business economy:
- Setting up an independently governed and constituted Nidderdale Business Association run by Nidderdale businesses.
- Creating a unified Nidderdale brand to attract more visitors to the area.
- Facilitating and supporting access to grants.
- Organising local training and networking events.
- Providing a platform where we can collaborate to amplify our events and offers to a wider audience.
- Setting up a website to provide a conduit to Nidderdale Business Association services, inform visitors of all we have to offer in Nidderdale and attract new businesses into the area.
Nidderdale Business Association - Our Ambition:
To create a centralised ’Business Community’ that provides support and improves the local economy by encouraging more people to visit, live and work here.”
The Nidderdale Business Association (NBA) will be a separately constituted organisation, governed and run by Nidderdale businesses who share this ambition and want to connect with like-minded people to build a sustainable business economy.
