Nidderdale Investment Plan
North Yorkshire Council are working in partnership with local community anchor Nidderdale Plus and the newly formed Nidderdale Community Partnership to develop an investment plan for Nidderdale as part of a regeneration programme across 32 towns in the county. The plans will help guide future funding bids by ensuring they are targeted to local priorities.
This work is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, and receives funding from the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
A public consultation exercise was held about the plan during December 2025-February 2026, with a good number of replies received. Work is now underway on the draft plan, with the Executive of Nidderdale Community Partnership taking the lead on this work. The current schedule would see a final draft of the Nidderdale Investment Plan come out for final community consultation during the summer of 2026.
