Cost of Living Community Support

Nidderdale Plus is the Community Anchor Organisation during the cost of living crisis, coordinating activity and providing help and services throughout the crisis to residents in Nidderdale and Washburn. We are working in partnership with North Yorkshire Council to ensure that each area is well supported in these times.
 
What we are doing:
 
  • Working with communities and local organisations to set up a network of Warm Spaces across our area. Contact us via email tracey@nidderdaleplus.org.uk or phone 01423 714953 if you have information to add to our growing database, or if you would like more details.
  • Providing Information packs (including guidance materials, information and signposting to services) for organisations wishing to help those struggling with rising heating bills and food prices.   • Referring and supporting people to access services such as Food Banks, Citizens’ Advice, Warm and Well. Contact us to find out what help can be provided and how to get support: 01423 714953

  • Providing advice and guidance to people wanting to save energy in the home.
