Transport in Nidderdale

Nidderdale is a large rural area and we are lucky that its main corridor is served by a daily bus service. The Number 24 bus, operated by Transdev, travels from Harrogate up Nidderdale to Pateley Bridge. The bus station in Harrogate is adjacent to the train station, so it is possible to travel well into the dale using public transport.

You can find the up to date timetable for the 24 service here.

The Nidderdale Rambler bus service is available on some summer Sundays and Bank Holidays – check the DalesBus website for more details https://www.dalesbus.org or up-to-date details.

Nidderdale is a great place to bring your bike or go for a walk!  Click here for some suggestions of short walks and mountain bike routes. http://uppernidderdale.org.uk/visit-nidderdale/walking-cycling-routes/
