Report an incident to NYC

North Yorkshire Council have launched a useful webpage app that anyone can use to pass on information about issues in their locality–fallen trees, localised flooding, blocked land drains, etc.  You access the webpage here: https://myaccount.northyorks.gov.uk/report-situation

You can use this form to upload any photos that have been taken of ongoing major incidents. This will help to keep the emergency response agencies informed to help plan their response. Your submission is anonymous and no personal data will be captured.

You should make sure that you:

  • know the location where you took the photographs;
  • have the photographs ready on your smart phone or computer; and
  • can describe the situation.

 A part of the process of submitting a photo, you are asked on the online form that you agree that the photograph can be used by officers as part of the emergency response.

North Yorks Police

We act as a front desk for police matters and report concerns through to the local police as they are reported to us.  We also act as a lost and found point for residents and visitors who find items they think are valuable, or who have lost an item/items that they value.
