What is the Nidderdale Plus Small Grant Scheme?
The Scheme is a rolling programme with an easy, informal, and quick application and approval process enabling groups and organisations to apply for up to £250.00.
What type of activity can be funded?
Small-scale local community ideas, projects, group activities, equipment purchases, one-off events or trips, or short-term finance issues such as venue hire.
Guidance and support will be given to applicants to complete the form and a simple verification process will be conducted to make sure the activity to be funded is consistent with Nidderdale Plus’ charitable purpose.
Informal groups with no bank account will still be able to apply and Nidderdale Plus can hold funds to dispense on behalf of such groups.
What type of activity cannot be funded?
Any applications that come forward which are solely for wholly religious activities or equipment are not eligible for this grant scheme.

Applications will be submitted for approval to the Nidderdale Plus Board of Trustees, which meets every two months. To find out the meeting dates of the Board of Trustees in the current year, call the Nidd Plus office.
The Board of Trustees will consider applications only from groups working in, or for people living in Nidderdale and the Washburn Valley as indicated on the map on this page.
