The Scheme is a rolling programme with an easy, informal, and quick application and approval process enabling Nidderdale and Washburn Valley charities, groups and other not-for-profit organisations to apply for up to £250.00.

To provide the Small Grants Scheme
To help fund the charitable activities of Nidderdale Plus Community Hub such as: Community Transport; Meals on Wheels; Minibus Days Out; Befriending, Digital Champions service; Office Services
What is the Nidderdale Plus Small Grant Scheme?
The Scheme is a rolling programme with an easy, informal, and quick application and approval process enabling groups and organisations to apply for up to £250.00.
What type of activity can be funded?
Small-scale local community ideas, projects, group activities, equipment purchases, one-off events or trips, or short-term finance issues such as venue hire.
Guidance and support will be given to applicants to complete the form and a simple verification process will be conducted to make sure the activity to be funded is consistent with Nidderdale Plus’ charitable purpose.
Informal groups with no bank account will still be able to apply and Nidderdale Plus can hold funds to dispense on behalf of such groups.

Applications will be submitted for approval to the Nidderdale Plus Board of Trustees, which meets every two months. In 2025 Trustee Board meetings will take place on the following dates: 8 April, 10 June, 12 August, 14 October, 25 November.
The Board of Trustees will consider applications only from groups working in, or for people living in Nidderdale and the Washburn Valley as indicated on the map on this page.
