Volunteers’ Week takes place 1 – 7 June every year. It’s a chance to celebrate and say thank you for the contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.
During the coronavirus pandemic, many are focusing on supporting volunteers to take on coronavirus-related volunteering roles to help communities cope with the many consequences of coronavirus. And nowhere has that been more the case than here in Nidderdale!
Over 650 people came forward in communities throughout Nidderdale and Washburn to help their communities, and they have been active in 13 volunteer networks. Huge thanks go to all of you for all you are doing.
We would also like to thank our small army of regular volunteers here at Nidderdale Plus. It simply would not be possible to run all our services without you, and staff and trustees want to thank you for all your hard work. We hope we can see you all soon!
