Nidderdale Plus has recently gained funding to provide employability training to help people build their confidence and their skill set, when they are looking for and applying for jobs.
This employability training is provided by Next Step, based in Kirkby Malzeard, and offers strategies and techniques to improve the skills sought by most employers. The training is provided in small groups so that we can really understand your needs and help you as an individual.
This training will help you to develop in confidence, communication and teamwork. We will also help you to develop your own personal plan for the next 3 – 5 years, and we will help you to diagnose and access what you need to fulfil your employment dreams.
This training is offered as part of the Trailblazers Programme and is fully funded by the UK Government.
Lunch and snacks are provided when you are on the programme. You would commit to 5 days training in Pateley Bridge over 3 weeks (Mondays and Tuesdays) plus one day of work experience with a supportive employer.
