Pension Credit: are you eligible?
At Nidd Plus, we are particularly keen to promote awareness of the Pension Credit benefit scheme. Pension Credit is extra money from the Government to top up pension income. But it also acts as a passport to other entitlements such as Cold Weather Payments, Council Tax reductions and help with health costs. To claim Pension Credit, you must be over state pension age and be on a low income. Your can check if you qualify at https://www.gov.uk/pension-credit/eligibility or by calling the Pension Credit claim line. on 0800 991234. Pop in to Nidd Plus if you want some help or advice to help you with assessing if you are eligible and can claim.
