We are so pleased to be back open to the public for all our services after the Coronavirus lockdown period. We opened on Monday, and it was quite a job getting all the equipment we needed in time to ensure that all our infrastructure and systems are COVID-secure.
But we have done it! And it is great to welcome people back in to the office to browse for library books, use the computers, look and ask for tourist information, use the community car service and request office services, such as photocopying and laminating.
Rest assured we are still offering services such as prescription delivery and home library book and jigsaw deliveries to those who need to continue to self isolate and the new Meals on Wheels service that we launched in May is still very busy. We are continuing in our role as the Community Support Organisation in Nidderdale on behalf of North Yorkshire County Council in this respect.
As a frontline organisation through the crisis, we have been here throughout, beavering away in the Nidd Plus office to ensure that responsive services have been delivered to residents. But it is so nice for us now to welcome back residents and visitors, and we hope you get the chance to stop by!
