It was with deep sadness that staff, trustees and volunteers at Nidd Plus and our Charity Shop learnt of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
For us, as an organisation that is committed to public service, she was the role model that inspired our work ethic and commitment to serving people in our local area. She described herself as “Your servant” and her long life of continuous public service pays testament to her own words.
We are open today at the hub and the charity shop for those who would like to come in and reflect and and remember Her Majesty.
If you would like to add your thoughts to the online book of condolence on Buckingham Palace’s website, please visit this page: https://www.royal.uk
We understand that there will be books of condolence in village halls throughout the dale. We will publish details about where these are on our facebook page as we hear they have been organised.
We all send our condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s family on her very sad passing.
