Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week is taking place from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 May 2020. The theme for 2020 is ‘kindness’.
Mental Health Awareness Week is the UK’s national week to raise awareness of mental health and mental health problems and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.
We wanted to share the artcle in the link below about loneliness, as at Nidd Plus we are aware of residents in our communities who are feeling lonely at this very difficult time when we are having to live for extended periods in either social isolation from friends or family, or just keep our distance from everyone when we are outside. We hope the article is useful if you are suffering from loneliness, or can spur you to help people who you feel may be having a tough time.
