As Nidderdale residents are hopefully aware, Nidd Plus forms the front desk for police matters across Nidderdale, and residents are welcome anytime to come into the office to report concerns and access the lost property service.
But people may want to sign up to the North Yorks Police Community Messaging System, as way of receiving regular updates about what is happening in your neighbourhood.
North Yorkshire Community Messaging is a free community messaging system for North Yorkshire that allows you to register to receive the latest crime notifications and community news happening in your local neighbourhood. North Yorkshire Community Messaging allows you to decide when and how you are kept informed about the issues that matter to you:
- You can choose the topics that specifically interest you: eg, anti-social behaviour, road safety, neighbourhood news and events, etc
- Choose how to receive alerts: eg, phone, email, text, etc
- Choose the geographical area/s you want to receive alerts about.
