Our growing network of Digital Champion volunteers, now funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, are getting people on line and improving digital literacy in Nidderdale.
We work with many different organisations and groups across Nidderdale to improve wellbeing for residents. We were visited by Chief Medical Officer, Chris Whitty, who wanted to find out more about our work in June 2023.
We run a varied and interesting programme of days out on our community minibus to help counter social isolation, as well as weekly shopping trip to Ripon Market.
We run a varied programme of activities and clubs for young people at our community library, which is manned by a great team of local volunteers.
We promote wellbeing, we foster independence, we cultivate a sense of belonging.
WE ARE HIRING!
We are hiring a new Services Navigator to be the project officer for the Care in Nidderdale Pilot Project that we will be delivering in partnership with North Yorkshire Council. For more information CLICK HERE.

Nidd Plus Digital Champion Service
Since we started our Digital Champion service in November last year, it has gone from strength to strength, thanks to Jo Hayes, our Digital Champion Coordinator, and her wonderful team of volunteer Digital Champions. Jo has put together this great video that explains more about the service from the point of view of learners and volunteers.
Please get in touch with Jo at jo@nidderdaleplus.org.uk to sign up as a learner or a volunteer, and to find out more.
