Weekly Events

Childrens Story Time

A free reading session for little ones is held in the library every Wednesday, hosted by one of our lovely volunteers, with fun, colourful floor cushions for children to sit and listen on. 

Pop into the library at 10.30 am with your child/children to join the fun for this half hour session.

Lego Club for Young People

During term time, our Lego Club runs from 3.45pm-4.30pm and is for young people aged between 5-14 years old.  This is a self-guided activity with support from adults, all of whom are DBS-checked.  Children under 8 years old need to have a parent or carer with them.  All Lego is provided, so come along and have some fun building with Lego and meeting other young people who are mad about Lego!

Nidderdale Plus Open Day and Film Premiere of the Intergenerational Digital Film Project

Come to Nidderdale Plus from 10.30am – 1 pm on Saturday 16th November when you can find out more about the services we offer here at Nidderdale Plus, and attend the first screening of the Intergenerational Digital Film Project!  See the films for the first time, as created by residents across the generations, which celebrate life in Nidderdale in a variety of creative digital formats, involving cutting edge animation.  Not to be missed!
